The Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) is a federal initiative designed to provide financial support and compensation to individuals who suffer serious injuries or fatalities as a result of receiving certain medical countermeasures. These countermeasures include vaccines, medications, devices, and other interventions that are used to prevent, diagnose, or treat a public health emergency.
