Data Quality: Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data can be challenging due to variations in reporting practices and capabilities across jurisdictions. Interoperability: Integrating data from diverse sources and systems requires robust technological infrastructure and standardized protocols. Privacy and Confidentiality: Balancing the need for detailed epidemiological data with the protection of individual privacy is a constant concern. Resource Constraints: Limited funding and workforce can hamper the effectiveness of surveillance activities.
