The AJE covers a wide range of topics within epidemiology. These include but are not limited to chronic diseases, infectious diseases, environmental epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, social epidemiology, and occupational health. The journal also publishes work on the development and application of statistical and epidemiologic methods.
