APHA actively engages in public health policy advocacy by working with lawmakers, public health officials, and other stakeholders to promote policies that protect and improve public health. This includes advocating for funding for public health programs, supporting legislation that addresses social determinants of health, and promoting policies that are grounded in epidemiological evidence.
