What is the Difference Between Endemic, Epidemic, and Pandemic?
These terms describe the occurrence of diseases:
Endemic - A disease that is consistently present at a baseline level in a specific geographic area. Epidemic - A sudden increase in the number of cases of a disease above what is normally expected in that population in that area. Pandemic - An epidemic that has spread over multiple countries or continents, usually affecting a large number of people.
