Second hand smoke, also known as passive smoke or environmental tobacco smoke (ETS), is the combination of smoke from the burning end of a cigarette, pipe, or cigar, and the smoke exhaled by smokers. It contains numerous harmful chemical compounds and poses health risks to non-smokers who are exposed to it.
