Hepatitis A (HAV): Transmitted primarily through ingestion of contaminated food or water. Hepatitis B (HBV): Spread through contact with infectious body fluids such as blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. Hepatitis C (HCV): Mainly transmitted through blood-to-blood contact. Hepatitis D (HDV): Requires hepatitis B virus for its replication and is transmitted through similar routes as HBV. Hepatitis E (HEV): Typically spread through consumption of contaminated water.
