What Are the Limitations of Confounder Identification?
Despite various methods available, confounder identification has its limitations:
1. Residual Confounding: Even after adjusting for known confounders, some residual confounding may remain due to unmeasured or unknown variables. 2. Over-adjustment: Adjusting for too many variables can sometimes introduce bias or reduce the precision of the estimates. 3.
