Lack of Peer Review: The absence of peer review means that the quality and validity of the research may not be assured. Misinterpretation: Preliminary findings might be misinterpreted by the media or policymakers, leading to potential misinformation. Overlooked by Mainstream Media: Some important studies may be overlooked if they are only available as preprints and not yet published in peer-reviewed journals.
