It uses a multistage, geographically clustered sample design to produce nationally representative data. Survey data is collected through in-person interviews using handheld devices. The questionnaire covers various aspects including demographics, tobacco use, cessation attempts, secondhand smoke exposure, and public attitudes towards tobacco.
