How is a Z Score Calculated?
The formula for calculating a z score is:
Z = (X - μ) / σ
Where:
X
is the value being measured.
μ
is the mean of the population.
σ
is the standard deviation of the population.
This formula helps to determine how many standard deviations away a particular value is from the mean.
