Africa CDC supports disease surveillance through the establishment of Regional Collaborating Centres (RCCs) which cover different regions of the continent. These centres work closely with national public health institutes to collect, analyze, and disseminate epidemiological data. Enhanced surveillance systems help in early detection and enable timely interventions to control disease spread.
